Beyonce’s Runnin’ The World – In Space!

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Beyonce’s world domination is not limited to earth apparently.
Astronauts aboard the Atlantis were given a very special wake-up call late Friday night from none other than Queen B herself.
“Good morning, Atlantis. This is Beyonce,” the singer said, in a message that was broadcast inside the space shuttle after a short snippet of Beyonce’s hit “Run The World” was played. “Sandy, Chris, Doug and Rex, you inspire all of us to dare to live our dreams, to know that we’re strong enough and smart enough to achieve them.
“This song is especially for my girl Sandy,” Beyonce’s message continued. “And all the women who’ve taken us to space with them and the girls who are our future explorers.”
Astronaut/STS-135 mission specialist Sandy Magnus gratefully responded to the superstar’s greeting with a message to Houston, saying, “Good morning, Houston! A big thanks to Beyonce for taking some time out of her schedule to record us a greeting.
“We’re ready for another day here in Atlantis! Hopefully we as a team at NASA can keep our inspirational work up for the young people of America,” Sandy added.
Atlantis launched toward the International Space Station on July 8.
The astronauts are more than halfway through their 13-day mission and are expected to return to Earth and land at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida on July 21.
